It can be ordered with a connector of the Virginia Panel Corp. (VPC) on the
front of the module as R&S TS-PSM5 (variant 03, R&S order no.
1519.2768.03). The connector is connected to the individual channels of the
module via terminals on the base board using a pre-assembled cable set.

The R&S TS-PSM5B (variant 02, R&S order no. 1519.2768.02) is delivered
without VPC, the user can connect his loads or power supply units with his
own cables via apertures on the front plate of the module to the terminals of
the channels.
It offers the following key features:

4 high power channels up to 50 A and 24 V DC
●
I/V - converter for current meassurement in use of the analog bus
●
Short circuit switch withup to 16 A per channel for test purposes; access avail-
able at front connector and rear I/O connection with a TS-PRIO5 module
●
4 medium power channels up to 2 A , 30 V DC, 46 V AC peak; Shunt resistors
with 0.022
Ω
per path for current measurements via analog bus; access avail-
able at the front connector and rear I/O connection using a TS-PRIO5 module

R&S TS-PSU
The R&S TS-PSU is a power supply and load module with two independent, float-
ing channels. Designed for fourquadrant operation, the module can be used in
functional tests (FCT) as well as in-circuit tests (ICT). It is controlled via the CAN
bus. The R&S TS-PSU can be used in the R&S CompactTSVP base unit as well
as in the R&S PowerTSVP.
It offers the following key features:

Two independent "floating" ouputs
●
Source mode:

50 V, 3A, 50W per channel

Load mode: 20 W per channel
●
4 to 1 Relay multiplexers with sense lines per channel to front connector X10
●
Integrated current and voltage measurement
●
PWM mode available with arbitrary signals max. 10 kHz, 10000 Samples
●
Protection fuses in soft- and hardware available to prevent:
– Overvoltage
– Overtemperature
