Expected Nominal Power
Calculated value of the expected input power from the AT, depending on the "Expected
Power Mode". The value is displayed for information.
Remote command:
AWGN Mode
Operating mode of the AWGN generator. The AWGN generator provides an Additional
Gaussian White Noise signal which is superimposed to the forward 1xEV-DO signal.
The AWGN contribution represents a controlled impairment of the forward signal.
●
Normal
: AWGN mode is appropriate for low and medium AWGN levels; "High
Power" mode is appropriate for high levels. The "AWGN Level" range is adjusted to
the selected mode.
●
High Power
: This mode is appropriate for high AWGN levels. It requires option
R&S CMW-KS890.
Remote command:
AWGN Level
Power of the AWGN signal relative to the "1xEV-DO Power". Use the checkbox to turn
the AWGN generator on or off.
Remote command:

Carrier Configuration
The "Carrier Configuration" determines the frequencies and levels of the "Band"-spe-
cific carriers, i.e. for each band a different set of carriers can be defined. While Car-
rier[0] is valid for all network releases, Carrier[1] and Carrier[2] are only used in net-
work revision B (see
Network revision B support requires option R&S CMW-KS881.
