Orthogonal Channel Noise Simulator (OCNS)
The OCNS is used to simulate the users or control signals on the other orthogonal
channels of a downlink. The channelization code and relative level settings for OCNS
signals are specified in 3GPP TS 34.121 and 3GPP TS 25.101. The spreading factor
of the OCNS signal is 128. The DPCH data for each channelization code are uncorre-
lated with each other and with any wanted signal over the period of any measurement.
The parameters are chosen to simulate a signal with realistic Peak to Average Ratio.
The following tables list the channelization codes and relative level settings for R99 to
R7.
