Strictly comply with the operation regulations during drilling.
You are prohibited from drilling in the cabinet on your own. Drilling without meeting
the requirements may destroy the electromagnetic shielding performance of the
cabinet and damage internal cables. Metal particles generated by the cabinet will
short out the cards.
1.5.2 Carrying chassis
Wear protective gloves during manual lifting to avoid scratching.
Grasp the chassis handle or hold up the bottom edge of chassis when moving or lifting the
chassis instead of handles of the installed components inside the chassis (such as power
modules and fan modules).
Take good preparation for load bearing and avoid being crushed or sprained.
When pulling out the chassis, pay more attention to the unstable and heavy
devices on cabinet so as to avoid being crushed or sprained.
1.6 Others
1.6.1 Inserting and removing cards
Please insert and remove cards according to the following requirements:
Insert card along with the guide rail
Do not touch the surface of card circuits to avoid short circuits or scratches.
Do not touch the circuit, element, connector or terminal block when holding the
components with your hands to avoid damage of sensitive components caused by body
electrostatic.
Wear an ESD wrist strap and a pair of gloves when inserting the card and the
operation must be gentle in order to avoid distortion of the pins on the backplane.
1.6.2 Laying down cables
Too low temperature or violent shock and vibration may crack the plastic sheath of the fiber.
To ensure construction safety, comply with the following requirements:
All cables are laid down in an environment with temperature over 0°C.
Keep the cables in ambient temperature for more than 24 hours before installation if the
cable storage environment is below 0°C.
Carry the cables gently. Avoid improper operations, such as pushing them down the lorry
directly, especially in low temperature.
