collocated

This
interference
can
be
mitigated
by
using
different
frequencies
for
the
Unit1/1A
pair
and
the
Unit2/2A
pair,
but
this
not
always
feasible.
Hub
Site
Synchronization
(HSS)
is
a
technique
that
prevents
this
interference
from
occurring
without
requiring
the
co
‐
located
units
to
use
different
frequencies.
This
synchronization
ensures
that
all
co
‐
located
units
transmit
and
receive
at
the
same
time,
as
illustrated
below:
