The amount of resources determines how the application will behave, for example, the amount of
information stored, GUI responsiveness, and so on.
To install the APSolute Vision VA platform, you need a fully functioning infrastructure running
VMware ESXi 5.1, 5.5, or 6.0, virtual machine version 8 or higher, a KVM infrastructure, or a
Microsoft Hyper-V version 6.3 infrastructure.
Installing and Configuring APSolute Vision Server with APM Server VA
on VMware
Initial installation and configuration of the APSolute Vision Server with APM Server VA involves the
following:
• Deploying the APSolute Vision VA OVA template. The procedure for deploying the APSolute
Vision VA OVA template may vary depending on the VMware version. For more information on
deploying templates, refer to your VMware documentation.
• Powering on the VA.
• APM Server licensing.
• Setting the initial parameters of the APSolute Vision server.
Caution: Do not edit or modify the OVA template.
Note: In order to be able to obtain consolidated information for each site, install a single Vision VA
application per site.
Download the APSolute Vision Server with APM Server VA OVA Software
1. Go to http://portals.radware.com/Customer/Home/Downloads/Management-Monitoring/
?Product=APSolute-Vision .
2. Log in with your customer password.
3. Locate the software version required, VMware, shipping GA, and click the Radware icon to
download the software.
4. In the APSolute Vision Software for VMware VA screen, locate the required virtual appliance and
click Download .
The .ova file downloads to the default download location of your local computer.
Install the APSolute Vision Server with APM Server VA
1. Log into the vSphere client and deploy the APSolute Vision VA OVA template.
Note: If there is a MAC collision with other APSolute Vision VAs, you must set a unique
identifier for each APSolute Vision VA.
2. After you finish deploying the APSolute Vision VA OVA template, from the Home > Inventory
drop-down list, select Templates and VMs .
3. Right-click the required APSolute Vision VA from the list, and select Power On . After the system
boots, the login prompt is displayed.
4. At the login prompt, enter the username and password (default: radware, radware ).
5. Continue with the initial configuration of the APSolute Vision server described in the APSolute
Vision User Guide , “Getting Started with APSolute Vision” chapter.
