10. When the installation procedure seems to have stopped, select View > Text Consoles >
Serial 1 to switch to the Serial 1 console.
11. When the installation completes, a log in prompt will display.
12. Log in as
radware (default password radware ) to run first time wizard and to set the IP
address.
Note: The ISO image can be disconnected from the
virtual machine
after successful installation.
Click Disconnect to disconnect the ISO image.
13. Continue with the initial configuration of the APSolute Vision server, described in the APSolute
Vision User Guide .
Installing APSolute Vision Server with APM Server VA
This section describes how to install the APSolute Vision server with embedded APM server VA
platform.
Note: For more information on the APSolute Vision server, refer to the APSolute Vision User Guide
and the APM Troubleshooting and Technical Guide .
The following options are available to install the APSolute Vision server with APM server VA platform:

This section assumes basic knowledge of VMware or KVM virtual infrastructures and how to install
and use them. For information on the installation procedures and details of OVF/OVA template
deployment, see the VMware/KVM documentation.
Notes
• You can run multiple APSolute Vision VAs within a VMware infrastructure. APSolute Vision VA
performance is subject to multiple parameters, including the server platform type, the additional
applications that run concurrently on the same server, the ESX configuration tuning, and so on.
• APSolute Vision VA is compatible with the high-availability (HA) features of the VMware
infrastructure, including VMware Virtual Machine Failure Monitoring. In VMware HA, only one
active instance exists by default. The database configuration should be kept on shared storage.
VMware manages the failover process. APSolute Vision is unaware when a failure occurs.
However, during the failover process, events that are sent will be lost; and the APSolute Vision
client will disconnect, and the client will need to reconnect. For more information on VMware HA
features, refer to the VMware documentation.
APSolute Vision Server with APM Server VA Requirements
The following are the minimum required amount of virtual-appliance resources for a full-scale
APSolute Vision Server with APM Server VA:
• 24 GB RAM
• 12 vCPUs
• 600 GB HD (250 GB is used by the APSolute Vision server, and 350 GB is used by the embedded
APM server.)
• 4 NICs
