When battery power becomes low, the pager sounds
an alert every few seconds,

flashes on the display. Press any button
to stop the alert, then replace the battery as soon as
possible.
Notes:
• If you press a button to stop the alert,
and
Change
Battery
appear on the standby dis-
play until you replace the battery.
• The pager’s built-in memory stores messages
and settings for at least 5 minutes while you
change the battery or after the battery loses
power.
• Always dispose of old batteries promptly and
properly; do not burn or bury them.
