2. Select a handset or the base to transfer
the call within ten seconds. (Refer to step
2 in the intercom section on page 53.)
The call will automatically be placed on
hold, and an intercom tone sounds.
To cancel the transfer, press the
CANCEL
soft key,
TALK/FLASH
or
SPEAKER
on
the initiating handset.
3. On the receiving handset, to answer the
page, press
TALK/FLASH
, the
ANSWER
soft key, or
INTCM/HOLD
. The intercom
mode is activated, but the caller is still
on hold. Or press any number key,
/TONE/<
or
#/>
(when Anykey Answer
is on), or pick up the handset from the
cradle (When Auto Talk is on).
On the receiving base, to answer the
page, press
SPEAKER
, the
ANSWER
soft key or
INTERCOM/HOLD
.
4. To hang up the intercom call, press
END
or the
END
soft key on the handset
(or
INTERCOM/HOLD
or the
END
soft
key on the base).
5. To speak to the caller, press
TALK/FLASH
on the receiving handset
(or
SPEAKER
on the receiving base).
From the base to a handset
1. During a call, press
INTERCOM/HOLD
on
the base.
2. Select a handset to transfer the call
within ten seconds. (Refer to step 2 in
the intercom section on page 54.) The
call will automatically be placed on
hold, and an intercom tone sounds.
To cancel the transfer, press
INTERCOM/HOLD

SPEAKER
or the
CANCEL
soft key on the base.
