Operation
PLAYING A CD
Warning: To protect your hearing if you are using earphones or
headphones, set
VOLUME
to its lowest setting before you play a
CD.
1. Press
. The CD player turns on.

appear.
Then

flashes briefly. The total number of tracks and total
elapsed playing time appear, then Track 1 plays.
2. Adjust
VOLUME
on the side of the CD player.
3. To pause playing, press
. The elapsed time flashes. To
resume playing, press
again.
4. When the last track finishes playing, the CD stops.
The total number of tracks and total playing time of the CD
appears for about 30 seconds, then the CD player auto-
matically turns off.
To turn it off sooner, press
.
Audible Search
To search forward or backward during play, hold down
or
. The CD plays rapidly and you hear the sound at a high
speed and low volume. The current track’s elapsed time ap-
pears.
Release
or
to resume normal play.
Note: If you hold down
while the last track is playing, audible
search stops at the end of the last track. If you hold down
