Dual Radar Display
Note 1:
You can combine two radar displays when each antenna is connected to the
partner processor unit independently. Two radar pictures can not be combined if the
radars are connected by cross interswitch or repeater interswitch.
Note 2:
The heading data fed to the two radars must be from the same source. This
prevents a difference in headings when the two pictures are combined.
Note 3:
When the dual display activates, the following settings of the main radar are
applied to the picture from the external radar.
• Operation mode ([RIVER]/[SEA])
• Range and range unit
The image from two or more radars
may be shown together on one ra-
dar display. This allows you to take
advantage of the best characteris-
tics radars has to offer.
The following should be done in or-
der to enable the dual radar display:
• Set antenna position correctly on
both the main radar and the ex-
ternal radar.
• Click the external radar to use, from the [COMBINE RADAR] menu.
