Please read this entire document before using the Therma-Cord, paying extra
attention to these safety warnings and guidelines. Please keep this manual in a safe

DO NOT connect Therma-Cord to an ungrounded outlet or use a “cheater” plug to
bypass the ground connection.
Only plug the Therma-Cord into branch circuit with 30-mA ground fault protection,
especially for fixed outdoor electric de-icing and snow-melting equipment.
DO NOT plug in equipment that draws more total amps than the amperage rating
for the Therma-Cord.
The individual user should take care to determine prior to use whether the
Therma-Cord
is suitable, adequate or safe for the use intended. Since individual
applications are subject to great variation, the manufacturer makes no representa-
tion or warranty as to the suitability or fitness of the
Therma-Cord
for any specific
application.
DO NOT install the Therma-Cord where excessive moisture is present or allow any
part of the device to be exposed to standing water.
The Therma-Cord has no serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service or
modify.
DO NOT plug the male end of Therma-Cord into an extension cord. Always plug it
into a GFCI protected outlet.
Prior to use, check the Therma-Cord for any signs of physical damage. Do not use
if it is damaged.
If the cord is damaged the entire device should be discarded.
