DMA Master Control/Status Register

Start (or restart) the corresponding DMA channel using the contents of the DMA 
channel registers. This command should only be issued after all the DMA 
channel registers (source, destination, length, and link if applicable) have been 
loaded.

buffer descriptor.

The corresponding DMA channel is enabled and active. These bits are set by the 
start command and remain set until the completion of the last buffer.
