version numbers, also indicated with ”CON: 6”, can be configured.
If the subprotocol version from the device is not compatible with the Configuration Server,
the information is grayed out, so here ”CON: 5” would appear with gray background.

INFO — To configure an Bridge E, it needs to use the same configuration subprotocol (CON) version as the
Configuration Server.
To update an Bridge E, it needs to use the same update subprotocol (UPD) version as the Configuration
Server.
6.2 Different Regularity Domains
The regulatory domain is used to indicate the area where Bridge E devices are used, and
to enforce the regulatories for that domain because different laws apply in different parts
of the world.
If you see the error message ”The used regulatory domain of PyRTMF and the database do
not match”, this means that the configuration server and the database file are from different
regulatory domains.
This problem can be solved by changing either the regulatory domain of the Configuration
Server or of the database.
NOTE — This error also occurs when using a migrated database that was created before this check was
introduced. In such a case the database’s regulatory domain needs to be changed.
