Cleaning and maintenance
Before performing the cleaning opera-
tion, ALWAYS disconnect the plug from
the power socket and wait for the kettle
(1) to completely cool down.
•
For the kettle (1) and power stand (4) external cleaning, use a damp cloth and avoid using
abrasive detergents.
•
Do not use metal polishers.
The kettle (1) and the power stand (4) must NEVER either be im-
mersed in water or washed in the dishwasher.
NEVER perform the appliance cleaning leading solutions of wa-
ter and detergents (or products) which can create foam to boil-
ing.
•
Clean the appliance inner part and the filter with normal dishes detergent, abundantly
rinsing and accurately drying them before storing.
HOW TO DESCALE POSSIBLE LIMESTONE RESIDUES
•
With use, on the stainless stale plate internal to the kettle (1) some limestone could form.
A periodic maintenance allows an optimal functioning of the appliance.
•
For cleaning, use specific kettles anti-scaling products available on the market.
•
Pour the anti-scaling product in the kettle proceeding as indicated in the instructions of
the product itself.
•
Empty the kettle (1), abundantly rinse it and after waiting for it to completely cool down,
dry it.
•
In case of more limestone residues repeat the cleaning operation.
The frequency of intervention depends, mainly, on the heated water hard-
ness.
