About Remote Control Protocol Support 

You can use remote control devices and applications software that use industry-standard serial 
protocols to remotely control the QuVIS Encore. The QuVIS Encore supports three standard serial 
protocols:

To enable remote control protocol support for the QuVIS Encore, you must first select the serial protocol 
to be used and then enable “remote control”. See the 

Configuring Remote Control

 section for detailed 

setup instructions. 
 

 

Supported QuVIS Media Types 

The following is a complete list of QuVIS media files that may be controlled remotely using a serial 
protocol.
