5.2. Setting Jumpers
The jumpers determine the voltage ranges of the PiXtend eIO inputs (digital or analog).
For the first commissioning and tests, all jumpers are factory set (see page 11). It is not
absolutely necessary to change this factory setting.
To adjust the jumpers, the stainless steel cover may need to be removed (for the "Pro"
versions). For "Basic" variants the jumpers are directly accessible and you can continue on
page 49.
Disassembly & assembly of the stainless steel cover
If the module has already been commissioned and cables have been connected,
disconnect the power supply and all other cables again. The PiXtend eIO device must
never be opened during operation.
There are four M2.5 screws to remove the stainless steel cover. This is done using a
standard Phillips screwdriver (PH1). The aluminum DIN rail housing does not need to be
disassembled to gain access to the jumpers.
