8 Troubleshooting

8.1

Troubleshooting

Does the pump start?

YES

Is the display off or does it show an error code?

YES

Is the motor too hot?

YES

The thermal circuit breaker in the motor has tripped.

►

Allow the motor to cool down.

►

Reduce the pump performance.

Parts are defective.

►

Check the power cables, power supply and fuse (6.3 A slow-blow) in the control

panel.

►

Replace the defective parts.

The parameters of the control panel are wrong.

►

Check the basic settings.

►

Reset the basic settings.

Are operating noises getting louder?

YES

The ball bearings on the eccentric shaft are defective.

►

Renew the ball bearings on the eccentric shaft.

►

Contact Service (see chapter 1.1 Manufacturer and Service on page 3).

Is the pump priming?

YES

Is delivery obtained?

YES

Is the pump leaking?

YES

The screws connecting the individual components are not tightened properly.

►

Re-tighten the screws.

The pump has wrong direction of flow.

►

Turn the pump head.

Is pressure reached?

YES

The pump is drawing air, e.g. due to a leaking TC seal.

►

Check the seals.

The fluid is too viscous.

►

Check the viscosity.
