Step 1: Installation
With the engine switched off, simply plug the
unit into the 16-pin diagnostic port connector

. It may require firm pressure to mate with
the connector.If you have problems fitting the
device in the space available,please request our
OBD extension cable.
Replace any trim after inserting the unit.
Leave the front doors wide open for five
minutes. This will help acquire the initial GPS
position data.
Step 2: Device Setup
Switch the ignition on (with engine running and
leave this on for approximately five minutes.
Then switch off the ignition and remove the
ignition key.)
Now send the following information to

Serial number (SN) information
•
The vehicle’s registration
•
A brief description (make, model)
•
The email address to be used for the
weekly reports
Please allow one working day for Quartix to set
up your vehicle details on your account.
After receiving your confirmation email from
Systems Support, log into
to set your preferences and track your vehicles.
