5.1 Configuring baud rates
The NMEA 0183 input and output baud rates can be setup from the dropdown menu. The A035 can
work with standard NMEA 0183 devices (4800bps) or high-speed NMEA 0183 devices (38400bps).
9600bps can also be chosen, if required.
NMEA baud rates can be adjusted as required.

Once the desired input and output
baud rates have been set, click on the ‘Config’ button to save the
new settings to the device.
Wait until a pop-up
window showing ‘Done’ comes up, then click on ‘disconnect’ to safely remove the
device from the PC.
Re-start the A035 to activate the new settings.
5.2 WiFi - station mode
The WiFi is set to ad-hoc mode by default. Station mode allows your router/access point to handle the
data and traffic from your device. This data can then be picked up through your router anywhere on
your local area network. Similar to plugging the device directly into the router, but instead using wireless
technology.
This allows your main mobile device to still receive internet and for you to be able to view the data
simultaneously.
To set up station mode, the A035 should be connected to a computer running Windows (Mac users can
use BootCamp) via USB.
