Install the Lattus A10 Software

root directory and begins with
RedHat60AS
.
Configure the Lattus A10 Software and NAS Services
Follow this procedure to configure the Lattus A10 software and NAS
services.
Note:
The following steps are also part of a procedure to recover
from a catastrophic node loss as described in the document
Lattus-X Restore Procedures
(0-14916-01).
If you were referred to this guide from that restore document,
after you complete the steps in this section return to the
restore document to continue the restoration process. Do not
complete any of the other steps in this guide beyond this
section.
Before you Begin
Before you begin the configuration process, you should first verify that
the sector count in the
snfs1.cfgx
configuration file on the supplied
Lattus A10 USB drive matches the sector count used by StorNext File
System. If the sector counts don’t match, snfs1-data1 won't mount and
StorNext won't start.
Follow these steps to verify (and correct, if necessary,) the sector count:
1
Run the
cvlabel -l
command, which returns the StorNext sector
count. Match the label name from cvlabel with the "typeName" from
the .
cfgx
file before comparing sector count.
