Lattus A10 Access Node Installation Guide

Introduction

Overview

This guide describes how to install and configure a Lattus A10 Access

Node in a Lattus system at the customer's site.

Installation Sequence

In a Lattus system, a Lattus A10 Access Node is typically installed and

configured after all other Lattus components (including controller

nodes, storage nodes and switches) have been installed and configured.
This is why the final step outlined in the

Lattus Installation and

Configuration Guide

is to install a Lattus A10 Access Node and/or a

StorNext M662 Metadata Appliance.
However, because Lattus A10 installation is optional, all the steps

necessary to install and configure a Lattus A10 Access Node are included

in this guide, not in the

Lattus Installation and Configuration Guide.

For a new Lattus installation, after following the instructions in this

guide for installing and configuring a Lattus A10 Access Node, the

Lattus installation and configuration process is complete.
