10. From the accessory box, remove the three vented filler panels and install them on the front of the rack.

6.2 Cabling the System Interconnects

Storage Nodes and System Nodes need to be cabled to the System Interconnects. The cables are provided,

and each cable is labeled to identify the source location (i.e. the source location on the Storage Node or

System Node) and destination (i.e. the destination location in the System Interconnect.)

Note:

Quantum Corporation recommends that you familiarize yourself with the

cable labeling conventions found in

How to read cable labels

on page 261 before

cabling the System Interconnects.

6.2.1 Cabling the Storage Nodes

Begin cabling with Storage Node 1 and proceed through Storage Node 6 as shown in the figures below.
