3.1 Identification of assembled Storage Enclosure Basic

The following figure displays the major components of an assembled Storage Enclosure Basic:

3.2 About assembling the Storage Enclosure Basic

The Storage Enclosure Basics are designed to be installed in sequential order in the rack. That is, install

Storage Enclosure Basic 1 in the rack, then install Storage Enclosure Basic 2, then install Storage

Enclosure Basic 3, etc.
One installation scenario is that you can move the Storage Enclosure Basic box into the data center next to

the destination rack, and then you can unpack the box and assemble the Storage Enclosure Basic in the

rack.
Another installation scenario is that you will need to unpack the Storage Enclosure Basic box outside the

data center and then move the components into the lab for assembly. If this is the case, do not assemble any

portion of the Storage Enclosure Basic outside of the destination rack in the data center. Each piece of the

Storage Enclosure Basic must be assembled in the destination rack in the data center. That is, the unpacked

components of the first Storage Enclosure Basic should be unpacked, be moved into the data center, and be

completely installed in the rack before the next Storage Enclosure Basic is unpacked.
