ActiveScale™ OS X100 Rackless Installation Guide

Tip: 

Pre-login configuration takes a minimum of 12 hours.

Important: 

The systems at all sites must be completely powered on at this point.

Important: 

The 10GbE cables from SFP+ ports 1 and 3 on each System Node 

must 

not 

be connected to your network(s) at this point, to avoid possible IP 

conflicts.

Tip: 

All fields in the pre-login configuration wizard are mandatory unless 

otherwise noted.

1. At each site, configure a connection to the default 

link local IP address 

of the 

eth2 

network interface 

on the first (lowest) System Node (System Node 1).
