3. Using the on-screen keypad, enter the lookup column name in the ‘ Lookup ’
option, The lookup column name must be the same name of the column in the
Flexmail database, and must not contain any spaces. This is defined by the
characters selected in the barcode.
4. Select the ‘ Head height ’ to be used for the size of the pack, then press ‘ Ok ’ as
shown in Figure 4.32.

5. Finally, select the ‘ Dynamic head mode ’ to either ‘ On ’ or ‘ Off ’.
6. Press ‘ Next ’ once the desired settings have been made.
4.8 SAVING THE JOB
1. Enter a ‘ Job name ’ and ‘ Job description ’ using the on-screen keypad as
shown in Figure 4.33.

2. Select the ‘ Job number control mode ’ from the following list of options:
▪ Not used
▪ Auto generated
▪ Manual entry (external checking)
▪ Manual entry (internal only) - Not used for AIMS jobs.
▪ Multi-job (continuous)
▪ Read from prime - This mode allows the job number to be read from the first
page being processed on the prime document channel. The prime document
channel is halted until inserter/IMOS has confirmed with AIMS that it is a valid
job and then continues processing.
