6.2.
Removing / Installing the Power Supply Unit
The standard XCubeSAN series system comes with two redundant PSUs (Power Supply
Units) that allow users to hot swap it when one of the PSUs is not functioning.
All XCubeSAN models are fitted with the same PSU, but the installation direction came
differ. Please refer to the following content for the PSU removal / installation guide.
CAUTION:
The power supply unit is heavy and fragile; please use both hands while
installing, removing, or carrying the controller module. Recommended
place for removing the controller module: the system is in a well secured
rack or on a stable surface.
If you see the “System Health” showing
PSU Fault
, or the PSU LED shows solid or blinking
amber
color which means your PSU has encountered an issue and need to be replaced
immediately. You need to follow the procedure of how to remove problematic PSU module
and install a healthy one.

Please note that the PSU installed in 4U/3U or 2U system chassis are the same but the
installation direction is different (If you pull out the PSU from the system chassis, for 4U/3U
