Replacing Expansion Cards
The device supports selected expansion cards, some of which require QNAP PCIe brackets. QNAP-branded
expansion cards purchased from the company website are shipped with the brackets necessary to fit the
device.
Note
• A dual-port 10GbE SFP+ network expansion card is pre-installed on PCIe 3.0x4 slot 4.
• Slot 2 speed reduces from x8 to x4 when an expansion card is installed in slot 1.
• Slot 4 speed reduces from x8 to x4 when an expansion card is installed in slot 3.
