2-33 Printing
You can set the resolution of your printer through the QMS-developed
Macintosh or Windows driver or through the printer’s Administration/
Engine/Def Resolution menu.
Collating Output
The printer can deliver multiple copies of your files in collated order to
the output bin without having to send the file repeatedly. This feature
reduces your data transmission and improves performance. The illus-
tration below shows collated and uncollated stacking for two copies of
a three-page file.
An internal hard disk greatly improves collation performance because
the file is stored in QMS-compressed format for repeated printing.
When a job is longer than 50 pages, or when disk space is consumed
during a print job, the printer begins chunk collating. Chunk collation
