1 Open the duplexer’s top cover.
2 Remove the jammed media.
3 Close the duplexer’s top cover.
4 If there still is a jam message, open the
duplexer’s lower cover.
5 Remove the jammed media by pulling it
toward you.
6 Close the duplexer’s lower cover.
7 If there still is a jam message, open the
duplexer’s lower cover and paper
guide. Lift the inner paper guide.
Caution: Hold the paper guide by its
handles to avoid catching your fingers
between it and the cover.
8 Remove the jammed media by pulling it toward you.
If the media came out easily, skip ahead to step 15.
If the media did not come out easily or if you cannot reach the media from this
area, keep the duplexer’s lower cover open.
9 Open the duplexer top cover.
