2.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Caution
BE CAREFUL, DURING UNPACKING, TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
2.1.1 Damage Claims
The 7RSP1 Radio Synthesizer Panel has been carefully packed to provide maximum
protection during handling and transportation. Immediately upon receipt, check the
equipment for obvious signs of damage. Even if the equipment will not be installed
immediately, it is advisable to unpack it sufficiently to expose any hidden damage. If
external or internal damage exists, make an immediate report to the shipping carrier and
notify QEI.
2.1.2
Missing Items
Each 7RSP1 Radio Synthesizer Panel includes a parts list at the end of the manual.
Check all hardware against the parts list and immediately report any shortage to QEI
Compare instruction manuals and drawings to the Documentation List and/or
packing list and report any shortage to QEI.
2.2
Test Equipment and Tools
Table 2-1 lists the test equipment and tools which are recommended for use when installing
or maintaining the 7RSP1 Radio Synthesizer Panel.
