FISHBOX AND COOLER DRAINS
All of the compartments and drain rails are drained overboard by an automatic sump pump system. The pump
is activated whenever the water in the sump rises.
Removing the drain plug in the fishboxes will allow water to run to the sump which will then pump it
overboard. The fishboxes should be flushed out and cleaned after each use. Whenever the boat is left
unattended in the water, the plugs should be removed from the drain of each fishbox.
The cooler located under the aft seat and the drain rails surrounding the fishbox and fuel tank access hatches
drain to an automatic sump system.
The cooler is equipped with a Banjo
®
fitting to allow the drain hose to be disconnected from the drain. Lift
the cooler up and slide it to the port side of the opening to gain access to the Banjo
®
fitting. Pull both levers
of the Banjo
®
fitting upwards to disconnect the hose. The cooler can now be removed. To reinstall, push the
hose fitting onto the drain adapter and pull both levers down.
WATER SYSTEM DRAINS
All exterior sinks and livewells, provided with fresh or raw water, drain by gravity to overboard thru-hulls
located in the hull sides just above the waterline.
SHOWER AND CABIN SINK DRAINS
The shower drains to a sump pump system located in the bilge and accessed through a hatch below the mid-
berth. The head sink drains into the shower sump. The galley sink drains directly overboard through a thru-
hull fitting. This thru-hull fitting may be equipped with a ball valve which is accessed through the storage
area underneath the sink.
ROPE LOCKER DRAINS
The rope locker drains overboard through a special drain fitting located in the hull side at the bottom of the
rope locker. It is important to inspect the drain frequently to remove any accumulated debris.
