DC235 / DC265

If you have an optional aft cockpit cover,
slide it into the track on the back of the hard-
top and start but don't close the zippers that
join it to the side curtains, snap the aft cur-
tain to the deck and close the zippers. A
support pole is provided to prevent a low
spot that would cause water to puddle in the
cover.

Cold weather can make the clear vinyl mate-
rial on the curtains stiff and difficult to stretch
to the snaps. This can be particularly difficult
with new canvas that has been stored off the
boat. Lay the curtains in the sun for 30 min-
utes during the heat of the day to make
installation easier in cold weather.

Optional Bimini Top

The canvas for Pursuit boats is custom fit to
each boat. The optional bimini top is
designed with a relatively flat profile and a
snug fit.

To install the Bimini top, attach the main legs
to the deck hinges using the quick release
pins and leave the rear stanchions loose.
Next, open the bimini and attach the front
stanchion to the deck hinge on the top of the
windshield frame. Attach the rear stan-
chions, one at a time, to the rear deck
hinges located near the rear of the wind-
shield. Use your body weight on the rear
corner of the bimini to pull down and stretch
the fabric until the stanchion eye end lines
up with the hole in the deck hinge. Secure
each eye end to the deck hinge with the
quick release pins. If the top is still adjusted
to factory specifications, the top will be level
and the main legs will have a visible bow in
them.

To install the side curtains and front connec-
tor start with the side curtains. Slide them
into the tracks on the windshield. Slide each
section of the front connector into the wind-
shield. Start the zippers but don't close
them. Snap the side curtains in place and
close all of the zippers. If the bimini is
adjusted properly, the side curtains will have
to be stretched slightly to pull out the wrin-
kles and reach the snaps. The main load for
the top should remain on the front and the
rear stanchions. Attach the aft curtain to the
zipper on the back of the bimini and to the
side curtains. Snap the curtain to the deck
and cockpit.

The optional tonneau cover is installed starting

the snaps at the bow and working around each

side to the windshield. The center section

attaches to the window with Velcro.

The

optional cockpit cover is installed by first
attaching it to the windshield snaps and then
working your way aft attaching it to the
snaps.

Use the included pole(s) to support the

covers to prevent water puddling.

Note:

Cool weather can make the clear vinyl

material stiff and difficult to stretch to the
snaps. This can particularly difficult with new
canvas that has been stored off the boat.
Laying the curtains in the sun for 30 minutes
during the heat of the day will make install-
ing them much easier in cold weather.
