WARNING :
Never use force when connecting the pipe to the pump.
The following requirements apply:
•
Use the pump dimensional drawing to ensure proper installation.
•
Secure the work area with suitable fencing, such as a handrail.
•
Check for explosion hazards before using welding or power hand tools.
•
Before installing the pump, remove all debris from the pump suction system.
•
Always check the direction of rotation of the impeller before immersing the pump in the pumped
liquid.
CAUTION:
•
Supply voltage deviation:
1.
continuous operation: max. ± 5% of rated voltage.
2.
intermittent operation: max. ± 10 % of rated voltage.
•
When using the pump, the water temperature must be between 0 °C and 40 °C.
•
The pump must only be used for pumping water. The pump must not be used to pump liquids such
as oil, salt water or organic solvents.
•
The pump must not be used partially disassembled.
•
Do not use the pump in an area where the water pressure exceeds the values listed below, as this
could damage the pump or cause a short circuit or electric shock.
5.1 Preparation for installation
Tools and apparatus required to install a submersible pump for general drainage purposes:
Pre-installation check
Measure the resistance between each phase conductor and the ground cable (yellow green) to check the
insulation resistance of the motor.
ATTENTION:
Insulation resistance reference value ≥ 30 MΩ.
AC voltmeter
AC ammeter
(clamp) insulation resistance tester
(Megger tester)
Wrenches for tightening
bolts and nuts
Tools for connecting the power supply
(screwdriver or pipe wrench)
