How to check the correct rotation of the pump
1. Looking at the impeller.
When looking at the pump from below (suction), the impeller should turn to the left (or see nameplate).
2. Looking at the pump from above.
Since the impeller is not visible, the best way to check for rotation is to check for a backward jerking
of the pump as it starts. The backward jerking motion should point to the left
3. The motor should rotate in the direction of the arrow
4. Can also be determined by pressure or flow rate. The correct direction of rotation has larger
parameters
