Maintenance instructions for the equipment for the operator

Despite the excellent quality of the units, you should carry out the following checks from time to time (1
- 2 months) for safety reasons:

Check all parts of the unit, especially parts subject to wear such as rollers, screws, bolts and
in  particular  the  hydraulic  resistance  system,  as  well  as  their  fastenings  for  strength  and
damage. In order to maintain the technical safety level of the unit, parts damaged by wear
must  be  replaced  immediately  with  original  parts  and  the  unit  must  be  taken  out  of
operation until it is repaired.

If present, the locking pins and locking screws must also be greased.

With the hydraulic resistance transmitter, the following maintenance work is  also required every 3-4
weeks:

Check all screw connections for tightness.

Check the resistance transmitters for leakage.

Clean the piston rods of the resistance transmitters and spray them with special oil.

Spray all spherical bearings (also those of the resistance transmitters) with special oil.

Notice!

If,  contrary  to  expectations,  you  notice  any  damage,  stop  the  training  immediately  and  inform  the
exercise instructor.

In  case  of  device  problems  which  you  cannot  solve  yourself  in  a  simple  way,  please  inform  the
proxomed

®

service in any case. The authorized service will help you quickly and competently or provide

you with instructions. Until the problem has been solved, the unit must be shut down and the shutdown
must be marked accordingly on the unit by the operator.

You can obtain the maintenance products at www.proxomedshop.de.

The  training  equipment  of  the  compass®210  including  the  hydraulic
resistance system is subject to safety checks by the manufacturer or an
authorized service partner at least every 2 years.
