11 Upgrade of Firmware

Chose a

Bundle file

for firmware upgrade on the system tab and activate the software upgrade by pressing

Start SW upgrade

After restart of the device, which will be performed automatically, it is recommended to check the current
software version.

Please note that it is not possible to downgrade firmware of the device to versions before 1-2.0.0 from
firmware 1-2.0.0 or higher.

11.1 PDCIO

It is possible to upgrade firmware of a PDCIO device through IPC402x if it is physically connected to a
IPC402x device and the IPC device is configured to use PDCIO.

Chose a

Bundle file

for firmware upgrade

of ‘sub

unit’

on the system tab and activate the software upgrade

by pressing

Start PDC SW upgrade

Please observe that updating of PDCIO firmware using IPC402x takes longer time than if it is done locally on
the PDCIO device.
