Hill Descent Control
(HDC)
During the drive on downhill
road, the downhill speed can be
controlled with the accelerator
pedal or brake pedal is pressed.
The adjustment speed range is
8~35 km/h; if the driver presses
the accelerator pedal to
increase the speed to more than
35 km/h and less than 60 km/h,
the function is temporarily off
until the speed is reduced to
8~35 km/h.
The function can be turned off
by the HDC switch or
automatically turned off when
the speed is more than 60 km/h.
WARNING
HDC function may not be
used temporarily due to high
temperature of brake.
Hill Hold Control
(HHC)
HHC On
The HHC function will be
automatically activated under
the following conditions:
1.
Go uphill with D gear or R
gear engaged.
2.
Press the brake pedal and
the vehicle stops
completely on a slope.
HHC Off
The HHC function will be
automatically deactivated under
the following conditions:
1.
For vehicle with automatic
transmission: when the
automatic transmission is
engaged in “N”
(neutral) or
“P”
(parking) gear, or when
the vehicle is on a level
surface.
2.
When the ESC system
failure indicator on the
meter instrument comes
on.
