Drive slot numbering on VTrak D5600

Drive Slot Numbering

You can install any suitable disk drive into any slot in the enclosure. The diagrams below shows how drive slots

are numbered. Slot numbering is reflected in the WebPAM PROe and CLI user interfaces.

Be sure to install all of the drive carriers into the VTrak D5000 enclosure to ensure proper airflow, even if you

do not populate all the carriers with physical drives.

Caution

The VTrak D5000 Series supports disk drive hot-swapping. To avoid hand

contact with an electrical hazard, do not remove more than one drive

carrier a time.
