The “Orlita Evolution mikro” micro-metering pump is a hydraulic diaphragm

metering pump with an electronically controlled linear motor as a direct

drive. “Direct drive” means that the pump does not need a gearbox. The

piston (2) of the liquid end is connected directly to the motor (M).
The pump’s separate electronic controller can vary the stroke and stroke

rate without the need for additional equipment – depending on the pro‐

gramming. Due to the very high dynamics of the linear motor, the con‐

troller can compensate for any disruptive effects caused by the hydraulics

or valves – depending on the programming.
