The suction line of the metering pump is fed bubble-free into the vessel
1. Zero the scales.
2. Use the [arrow keys] to move from the ‘calibration stroke feedback’ menu item to the
‘calibration quantity’ menu item and press [P].
ð

‘quantity corr. factor’ menu item appears.
3. Use the [arrow keys] to move from the ‘quantity corr. factor’ menu item to the ‘quantity
meas. value’ menu item and press [P].
ð
The
‘actual mass’ menu item appears.
4. Start the metering pump.
Select the number of strokes so that the reading error on the scales (half of the
smallest readable mass divided by the metered total mass) is smaller than the meas‐
uring error of the DulcoFlow.
5. Stop the metering pump.
6. Read off the weight from the scales.
7. Press [P].

The ‘nominal mass’ menu item appears.
8. Use the [arrow keys] to adjust the value in the ‘nominal mass’ menu item to the weight read
off and press [P].
ð
The
‘corr. factor’ menu item appears. It shows the calculated correction factor.
9. Press [P] to return to the continuous display.
It is also possible to manually calculate the correction factor and enter it directly in
‘corr. factor’ -
‘correction factor’ .
