23.7 Safety instructions
Ensure when setting the lower leg length,
that no strong pressure is produced between
the underneath of the lower leg of the wheel-
chair user and the edge of the seating system.
24 Anti-tipping support
To minimise the risk of tipping backwards unin-
tentionally, anti-tipping supports are available
as accessories. The anti-tipping support is
adapted to the wheelchair frame in the lower
frame tube via a quick pin and can be folded
upwards via a spring system. After unhooking
the spring, the anti-tipping support can also be
completely removed.
24.1 Operating and passive position
To overcome an obstacle, the anti-tipping sup-
port must be swivelled from the operating to
the passive position beforehand so that it does
not knock against the obstacle.

To move the
anti-tipping support into the
operating position
, pull the anti-tipping bar
out of the anti-tipping support adapter and
swivel the anti-tipping support to the rear. En-
sure that the sliding sleeve engages properly.
To move the
anti-tipping support into the
passive position
, press the sliding sleeve to
the back and swivel the anti-tipping support to
the rear. Make sure that the anti-tipping sup-
port is properly engaged in the anti-tipping
support adapter.
24.2 Removing and attaching the anti-
tipping support
