Appendix F

C-, F-, and Spectroscopy-Mount Adapters

Among the items in the accessory kit shipped with the PI-MAX3 are two adapter kits
(C-mount, F-mount, and spectroscopy mounts are supplied, one of which has been
factory installed on the camera) and a double-ended screwdriver with magnet top.

To change from one adapter to another:

Using the supplied screwdriver, remove the four (4) Phillips head screws that
secure the adapter to the front of the PI-MAX3.

Note:

If the Phillips end of the screwdriver is not available, pull the driver shaft

out of the handle, flip the shaft, and insert the flat end into the handle.

Remove the existing adapter and store it in a safe place.

Using the same screws, mount the new adapter to the front of the PI-MAX3.
