Assembling Cephalometric Sensor Unit

2.1 Precautions on Installing Cephalometric Sensor Unit

Here the procedure for adding Cephalometric sensor unit (optional) to the installed (operating) PreXion3D

Excelsior is described.

Precautions when installing Cephalometric sensor unit (optional) right after installing PreXion3D Excelsior

(before operating) are shown below.

2.2 Attaching the STAND BAR

(for assembling of the Cephalometric sensor unit)

To prevent a falling over the main unit, attach the STAND BAR with screw CP10X60-CM1 (x3) before

assembling the Cephalometric Sensor Unit.

Attach an adjuster to the end of the STAND BAR, and adjust a height so that the adjuster contacts the floor

surface.

2.3 Removing Cover

Before assembling Cephalometric sensor unit, remove the following covers first.

- Handgrip

- CHINREST COVER BOTTOM

- FIXED COVER RR

- FIXED COVER RL

- FIXED COVER RU

Connect the signal cables (x4) of the scanner and Cephalometric sensor

unit after confirming the scanner and finishing the adjustment.
