Improving the reception of a weak signal
MO "monitor" [1]
Press and hold the "MO" (Monitor) button in the receiving mode, the audio signal will be heard until the "MO" button is
released.
If the "MO" button is pressed for more than one second, RX/TX Condition and Scan Skip Condition will appear on the LCD
(see page 20) for one second. However, they will not appear on the LCD in the setting mode.

Press the

button, the lamp will stay on for four seconds, after which it will turn off auto-
matically. If you press another button on the front cabinet when the lamp is on, the lamp will
stay on for four seconds from that time. If you press the
" R "
button more than one second,
the lamp will stay on until you press the button once again.
Activating the BP (Beep) button
"BP" (Beep) button [4]
This feature gives the user an audible confirmation through a short beep tone that the radio
has been turned on. The transceiver comes with this feature already activated. If you would like to disable this feature, press
"F" +
" R
(BP) " button. To reactivate the Beep feature, repeat the above process. When the "beep" feature is off, the key beep
tone and the error beep tone will not sound.
Activating the calling signal

disappear on the LCD). To disable: Press the "PTT" button. The bell rings whenever a signal opens the squelch (the squelch
must be perfectly adjusted in order for the bell to work well).
