Editing an Empty Button 

When a button has no content and the Editor is turned on, buttons that 

have no content appear with a black and white checkerboard pattern. 

 

If you select one of these empty buttons when 

Edit

 is highlighted in 

blue, you can add content to the button and make other changes. 
If you select one of these empty buttons when 

Edit

 is not highlighted in 

blue, the Editor - Empty button window opens.
