WARNING

You must be familiar with the use of any tool or accessory
used with this jig. The supplier cannot be held responsible
for any accident, injury or damage incurred while using this
taper jig with any tool.
WARNING
Some dust created by operation of power tool contains
chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer,
birth defects or other reproductive harm. To reduce your
exposure to these chemicals, work in a well ventilated
area and work with approved safety equipment. Always
wear OSHA/NIOSH approved, properly fitting face mask or
respirator when using such tools.
CAUTION
Do not modify or use this jig for any application other than
that for which it was designed.
SAFETY RULES
• Disconnect the plug from the power source of the power
tool before changing accessories. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
• Always keep your hands away from the cutting area and
be aware of the blade at all times. Use a push block
when needed.
• It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser of this tool
to ensure that anyone using this jig reads and agrees to
all the safety precautions outlined in this manual and the
table saw's manual prior to using the tool.
• The jig is intended only for use on table saws.
• Keep the saw blade as low as possible to make the cut
as specified by your saw’s instruction manual.
• Before making the actual cut, become familiar with the
cutting process by practicing the motion of the cut with
the blade lowered and the power turned off.
• Use adequate outfeed support when cutting long pieces.
• The jig handle must be installed when making all taper or
straight line cuts.
• The saw fence must be used when making taper cuts.
• The work stop on the jig must be used during cuts. Make
sure all fasteners are tight.
CAUTION
Think safety! Safety is a combination of operator common
sense and alertness at all times when taper jig is
being used.

ASSEMBLE THE JIG
Refer to Figure 1
NOTE:
The handle and work stop can be assembled for left
and right side use.
• Assemble the wing knob, spring washer and washer
through the gauge and into the threaded hole in the
angle jig.
• Thread the handle into the correct threaded hole for left
or right side use. Tighten securely.
• Assemble the work stop in the correct mounting holes
for left or right side use. Make sure the hardware
is tightened.
