Remove the battery before working on the
riveting tool. Remove the nut (2) and pull it
off.

Pull off the sleeve (3).
Be mindful of any compression springs used to
increase contact pressure.

5.4.0. ChanGinG/extendinG the ChuCk JaWs
Hold the spacer using an SW14 open-end
wrench. Loosen the chuck jaw housing (5)
with an SW17 open-end wrench and pull it off.
For fast exchange systems, pull the locking mechanism
back (silver). Then you can easily unscrew the jaw casing.
When tightening, you do not have to pull the locking
mechanism back. To replace the extension, proceed as
you would with a standard tension unit.
