PRESETTING THE PLOUGH
- 11 -
Fine setting (measurement F)
Fine setting adapts the plough to the tractor in use and therefore is to be
carried out only once.
With that the fine adjustment spindle is set at the etablished measurement
(F)
- Make the measurements (A) and (B) and determine the intersecting point
(F) for cat. II in accordance with the table.
The measurements (A, B) are each to be made from bolt centre to bolt
centre.
- The position of the intersecting point between the diagonal lines on the
graph is the setting (F).
Table for cat. II
Cat. II = 825 mm
W = 80 mm
Example:
A = 416 mm
B = 931 mm
W = 80 mm
(W = 200 mm)
The intersecting point (F) lies between the lines "306" and
"308".
Therefore the average is 307 mm.
F = 307 mm
Setting the adjustment spindle
- Remove bolts (12).
- Set the adjustment spindle to the determined measurement
(F).
- Replace bolts (12).
