• Clearing field edges can normally (exceptions can be found later
in this manual) be carried out using only a three-point slewing
headstock and the swivelling runner wheels belonging to it.
The machine runs slantwise behind the tractor according to the
direction of the runner wheels. This causes the forage to be strewn
into the field away from the edge.
Swinging of a single runner wheel
- Press up the adjusting lever
(7).
- Swing the wheels to the right
or to the left.
- Lock the adjusting lever into
the desired position.
Note
In this working position the swivel area (9) is used to its full extent.
When driving around bends away from the edge of the field or at the
end of the field, the machine must therefore be lifted.
Attention!
The machine swings back into the central position
(M).
